This client came as a new start-up business needing help in all facets of branding and marketing. First we discussed logo concepts and directions in which we ultimately decided that a mascot would be the best option for a logo. I then sourced an illustrator that would provide the look and feel that was envisioned. The original business name was going to be “Under Pressure”, however, after some research we discovered quite a few competitors with a similar name, so we discussed some different naming options. I presented the client with “Octomax” and they instantly loved it. We did some minor name testing to see what others thought, and received a good response.
As I continued to work with my client, consulting and designing, we discussed marketing options for best exposure and suggested that a van wrap for the work vehicle would be great for developing the brand in the local community. We also discussed the need for (at this time) a simple website to provide credibility and information for anyone seeking their services.
